Bidra med feedbackWorst sushi placeI asked for omakase and this little sushi was 15 dollars for one piece.Over price sushi.
Before COIVD this place had amazing food qualities and good service. But I think they sold to another owner. The food isn’t tasty that good as before and serves was unbelievably bad. Won’t be back again. I don’t think this business will stay long. Very disappointed.
Hours are wrong on the website. They are not open on Mondays and they open earlier than 5:30 on other days of the week. The service is hit or miss. Was told to sit in one specific table because we were a table of two by the Asian hostess with the ponytail. We asked if we could sit elsewhere and she said we have to sit there as a party of two. Fine. 10-15 minutes later, after I have placed my order. She asked us to sit at another table. We said we are fine here now and she told us we had to move because she just made a reservation for 6 that would require my table. I understand the need and would oblige happily, but there was no please or thank you. She demanded we move. I would have left immediately if my mother hadn't already settled down and didn't want to go to another restaurant. Very poor, blunt customer service with poor attitude. The food quality does not match the price. Because they have no customers on big weekend evenings, they can't properly order good fish and product. For $39 the largest chirashi is poor quality for the price. I would pay double if the fish quality is better. Disappointing and won't be back. It seems that they have sold the restaurant to a Chinese or Taiwanese new owner. Don't think they will be open in the next couple years.
We placed a Togo order for a delightful variety of dishes at this Japanese restaurant located in downtown LA. It happens to be one of my brother's favorite places, and he was determined to welcome me with a special dinner from here, despite the crazy Friday traffic in the area. Arriving a little early, we patiently waited for them to open at exactly 5:00 pm. Since our order was quite substantial, they kindly brought the food to our car in the parking structure. My generous brother left a big tip for both the waitress and the person who delivered the food. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I opted for the chirashi, which was a generous portion of fresh sashimi, rice, and a variety of veggies. It paired perfectly with my niece's favorite beer, Allagash Curieux, which I found to be excellent. Later, we also indulged in some sake. The gathering was filled with heartwarming conversations and scrumptious food, making it a truly cherished moment for all of us. Such experiences remind us of the joy of family gatherings and the simple pleasures of life.Parking: It’s paid parking structure, but restaurant validated for free parking.
Food fish is really good. But service was way slow. I think there was only one server, who was in training, and another person showing them the ropes and trying to manage customers but they need more staff. I think there was one sushi chef too. It took long enough for me to pause before deciding to come back, unfortunately. :
