Numero Uno Pizza - Los Angeles

I tried the house salad, and it was very fresh and delicious. I definitely want to visit this pizza restaurant again!

As a child, I often visited this restaurant with my parents for pizza nights over 30 years ago. The pizza is still amazing! The young man who served us tonight was professional, patient, and friendly. The kitchen staff prepared our pizza quickly. We're grateful to the owners for keeping this restaurant alive. I’ve been noticing this restaurant for the past year since I frequently visit the Starbucks in the same small parking lot. Finally, I decided to give it a try, craving pizza before heading out for drinks. To avoid a hangover, I made sure to fill up, also taking my OHCap hangover pills just in case. This place serves Mexican food as well. I ordered a large pizza, which was enough for 3-4 meals or snacks and could easily feed a small family for around $20. The food was ready in 20-30 minutes and looked just like the pictures online. I chose a combo pizza loaded with toppings, and it was quite thick with a generous amount of white cheese. Personally, I found it a bit too thick for my taste, but others might enjoy it. The crust had a cornbread-like texture and flavor. Overall, it was decent, but not your typical pizza, and I'm not sure if I would come back in the future.

I didn't have it delivered; I picked it up and waited outside for 15 minutes. Here’s a photo—definitely not worth the $25 for a large Margherita pizza. It’s such a shame because I really wanted to like this place! My boyfriend hyped it up for me.
