Nice place, food is good and staff friendly. The price is also good, i usually take a torta for lunch and it's big enough for me to be satisfied.
I've been coming here for at least 20 years! One of the best Mexican Food Establishments in the Bay Area. Open late and excellent selections. My favorite is the Chicken Cesar Salad.
Tldr; Tasty food with a lot of options. Downside is they use a lot of oil! Came here to get some relatively healhier food option on Hollywood Blvd, and the food was pretty decent. Most Mexican places around only have the classic Burritos/Quesadillas/Tacos option, but thisnplace had A LOT of variety. My boyfriend and I both went for the Pollo Asada plate, which was 2 pieces of grilled chicken breast, a side salad, rice and beans. I asked to sub my rice and beans for the fajita veggies instead to lower the calories. Unfortunately, that made things worse, since the vegetables were literally drenched in oil! I used around 4 napkins to absorb it until they couldn't hold any more oil, but that still wasn't enough! I ended up just asking for some extra salad instead. The server was very sweet and gave me the salad with a smile on her face. Quite a pleasant surprise! The chicken also had a fair amount of oil in it, so I had to press that between some napkins too. It was seasoned really well though, and my boyfriend and I hope enjoyed it. They also serve some Tortilla Chips and Pico de Gallo when you sit down. The chips were nice and crispy, but I only had 2 pieces coz I noticed when we entered that they're deep fried. Overall a good experience with nice food. Would go back if the oil was a little less.
Great food and price! a great 1st place to eat after landing and settling into the Hollywood BLVD activities
