Father's Office - Los Angeles

I've been wanting to visit this place for quite a while, and I finally decided to go. First and foremost, it's important to note that you CANNOT modify your food order in any way. They made this clear, but I still saw other customers getting upset about it shortly after we arrived. Personally, I don't have a problem with this, so I went ahead and ordered the cheeseburger. The burger was quite good, offering a rich depth of flavors that I really appreciated. I think this is why they have the strict no-substitution policy; the dish is designed to be enjoyed as a complete whole. My main concern, however, was the prices. They are quite high, and while I liked my meal, I don't see myself coming back regularly unless I want to go broke.

This unpretentious spot serves one of the best burgers around! The salt and vinegar tots were perfectly fried, and the drinks were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere with great food and drinks.

One thing to note is that no modifications are allowed to the food, including the office burger. However, it's one of the best burgers in LA—though on the pricier side—so I highly recommend trying it along with a basket of frites. The fried chicken sandwich was decent, but do keep in mind that it contains kimchi. The chicharrones were incredibly tasty, and I suggest getting them with the green sauce on the side for an extra kick. You can also grab water at the bar. With a variety of options available, it's best to come with a group and order several dishes to share!

The wine selection is impressive, especially if you're a fan of big reds. I’d rate the burgers a solid 4 out of 5 stars. You can’t customize them, which I actually think is a smart choice; it sets them apart. The burgers were quite tasty—not mind-blowing, but good enough that my family would definitely come back. Good food is always worth it, right? The atmosphere was relaxed—though it was a bit loud inside, you eventually tune it out after a glass of really nice California red (I think it was from Lido, but I’m not entirely sure) and as you watch the delicious-looking burgers being served at neighboring tables. It’s worth a visit, and you won’t be disappointed!

This place has a relaxed vibe. The Wagyu burger is exceptional (skip the ketchup), and the atmosphere is very casual and inviting.
