Downtown Los Altos Farmers' Market

The Farmers’ Market here in Los Altos on Thursday evening was filled with excitement as people strolled through rows of produce for several street blocks long.

Hands down, THEE BEST farmers market I have ever been to!! Through word of mouth, I was informed by a neighbor/regular of the Los Altos Farmers Market that this event occurs every Thursday from 4pm-8pm, ALL YEAR ROUND!! Our party noticed the farmers market as we were driving around trying to find parking. After having dinner close by, I wanted to take a quick stroll and was shocked to see the market still opened and extremely lively. Farmers market that I've visited normally shut down pretty early so this was an absolute treat! Though there was signage stating dogs were not allowed, there were plenty of four legged cuties roaming around. My daughter has an absolute ball saying hello to the wagging tailed cuties and was lucky enough to do a little petting. Shout out to the gentleman with the beautiful golden retriever, you've only added to my toddlers obsession with dogs!!! 5/5 stars!! I cannot wait to come back. 30+ minute drive from SJ in the middle of traffic and then driving around to locate parking in the busy very busy DT Los Altos area is well worth the headache.

Great place to be, so many vendors...fresh fruits and vegetables, there's even seafood being sold. Not to mention all the food trucks and tents! There's so much for everyone, plus it's next to restaurants so you can eat there too. Downside is parking, just need to be patient in finding one. Also no dogs allowed, so bring those carriers if you Wana bring your furry friends.

The downtown farmers market is a great place to visit. Overall , all of downtown Los Altos is great , they have many places to eat and drink , from the trendy to the mom and pop establishment. You will find this town very friendly and extremely safe. One of the few places I've seen that leaves their chairs , heaters , other equipment out at night. Gives you a real sense of security. From trendy shops all the way from buying a grand piano to health and beauty care to chakra supplies and much more. Give the town a try , If dinning many places to chose from. Although some bar/restaurants this is not a bar scene town , more the relaxing night out or fun shopping. Enjoy

There is so much here, so many excellent vendors and a terrific range of products. Always fun, friendly and welcoming.
