Bidra med feedbackI love this place. Always stay here on the way to Morro Bay and Pismo Beach. Large dog friendly terrace. Great food and service. Dog-friendly. Motorhome place.
We really enjoyed this place. It's in an Old Town Los Alamos where everything is and it's original state. Lots of antiques etc. Charlie's sits at the end of town. From what I hear it's always busy and I can see why. The servers are very friendly and the food is really good. Prices are really good as well.
I wanted to eat here with my wife and was greeted by a stressed server with an unfriendly atmosphere. I thought so long as the food is good here, I'll let it happen. After taking our order and having received the food, my wife found a hair in her enchilada court, so we sent it back and thought we had sent a new one, but we were wrong. After taking the plate, my wife checked again and found another hair on her plate. So we went to show the cook and talked to the front to tell her that was disgusting. The employee immediately made an excuse to accuse the server by saying that they mixed the hair in the plate while trying to show it. It essentially means that it added, the exact same plate only covered it with the same hair and sent it back to us. They didn't even take us after all this trouble. I'm sorry and that was it. Overall terrible experience and will never eat here again.
We stopped in on our way back to L.A. had the 1/4 lb cheeseburger, mom had patty melt my son had a double mushroom burger with cheese. Very fresh. Delicious. Bonnie was a server.
Charlie's has good food at a fair price in an excellent atmosphere and the staff will learn after just a few visits. I recommend Charlie's in Los Alamos.
