Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I came here to grab a quick breakfast. I ordered an omelet and it came with home fries and toast. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. The food was good, fresh and hearty for breakfast.
Stopped in hoping for something other than fast food and was very disappointed. A man smoking right outside the door was the first issue because it filled the place with cigarette smoke. The place was filthy inside! We left without ordering.
Just don't do it. Ordered food. Paid for food. Noticed how filthy it was. Tried to eat food anyway. Took a bite of my sandwich and looked up at the ceiling fan (saw three inch layer of dirt and grease) and almost puked. Left without eating. Just don't do it.
Pleasantly surprised! Just passing through on a road trip, husband and I stopped here thinking it was actually the deli advertised on the freeway signs (clever business location move? . Stepped in to restaurant, kinda shabby pieced together. Might call it humble but it lead us to presume our food might be mediocre at best. A lady happily greeted us offered a menu, which was filled with your average deli options. When receiving our food (both ordered turkey/roast beef hero with oil/vinegar , we were both surprised at how yummy it looked. Biting into it was just as pleasant. The bread was fresh delicious, meats/cheeses freshly sliced, roast beef not stringy like some, the oil/vinegar was a yummy balsamic which we found unique tasty! A dive, but a dive worth visiting!
Excellent homemade soup in friedly sized bowls. Large boars head deli sandwiches. Great prices! Friendly service.
