Chen's - Long Beach

I ordered here because the reviews had so many pictures of the food that just looked so fresh and appetizing. My food was old. The rice was old and dry. The meat was grey and chewy. Didn't even taste like chicken. More like some chewy plastic. Waste of13$.

If you find yourself on Broadway in Long Beach, I highly recommend trying Chen's. Be sure to check out their menu and consider ordering ahead, as everything is made to order and truly worth the wait. The portion sizes are generous, perfect for sharing or for enjoying later. They also provide indoor dining while strictly adhering to Covid guidelines. When you're craving authentic Chinese cuisine, give them a visit—you won’t be disappointed! The owners are incredibly warm and kind, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

Excellent service from the waitstaff. The family-style dishes were delicious and offered at very reasonable prices. I will certainly return soon!

The orange chicken was excellent—just the right balance of sweetness and not overly breaded, with well-cut pieces of chicken. I mainly came for the wonton soup that I've been craving all week, and it definitely satisfied my appetite.

Best veggie fried rice I’ve had in years ! the container was so full it wouldn’t even close. The rice was freshly made and so delicious, sometimes fried rice doesn’t have a lot of flavor to it but not this one. Very nice ambiance inside and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I loved my lunch.
