Bidra med feedbackMost disorganized & substandard "take out" meal we have had in a long time. Order #'s were called long after people had left. Our order was sub par overall. Swiss Chalet has always been what we counted on but this is making us re-think it.
Service was a bit slow, but it was pretty busy. The spinach dip was so bad it was almost laughable. It was like soup. Chicken was decent, but the portion was small. Kids had pizza, which wasn't quite cooked (cheese not completely melted). I'm starting to think Swiss Chalet is going downhill.
Title says it all. We came here a couple weeks ago on a Monday evening after doing some shopping in the area. I was craving one of their rotisserie chicken wraps. When we entered the restaurant we waited 5+ minutes for someone to come over and seat us. By that time a line had started behind us. Finally a young man came over to tell us that the restaurant was completely out of chicken. Of course we thought he was joking but no, there was no chicken to be had.Wow. What a disappointment. Swiss Chalet really needs to get it together!!!We ended up going next door to Jack Astor's and had a wonderful dinner there.
We love Swiss Chalet...however this location Fanshaw rd. in London is terrible. The service and our meals. The European server was quite arrogant and rude. We asked about the CAC discount. Other locations are much more receptive and welcoming to give the discount amount off meals. We did not get to use our discount. My husband ordered ribs and chicken dinner. He received 1/4 chicken( which was only a few bites worth of meat). The chicken has gotten smaller and smaller. The coleslaw on his plate was in a tiny dip container-again a few bites worth. The fries covered the ribs.....because there was a small piece of flat rib meat...the largest bone was under 3 inches long-all the other bones(3 OTHER BONE NIBS) were smaller. The meat was flattened AND DID NOT RESEMBLE THE DELICIOUS CURVED BONE RIBS WE KNOW ! It was a terrible disappointment ! As a waitress she should have told the kitchen that she was not going to serve her customer that meal. Bad service. Bad portioning and shame on Swiss Chalet in London. WE will not be returning to this location and we will tell our friends the experience we had.
We picked up takeout and out chicken was way undercooked. We didn't have time to call to let them know right away because we were rushed for time. When I called 2 days later and had both proof of purchase and pics of **** chicken the manager was very rude and told me "too bad, you should have called Monday". She refused to help me. I told her I would be posting photos and a review... but she simply said "do what you gotta do". That is no way to run a business and treat a loyal customer.
