Bernies Bar & Grill - London

I can understand some of the reviews. I had to go find a staff member in order to get seated. The service was okay after that. The food was mediocre. My daughter-in-law had the fish tacos, and the fish was overcooked and tough with too much sauce in the taco. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with the so-called signature Bernie's roasted potatoes, which were disappointing. The fries were overcooked with very little Parmesan, and the sandwich was lacking toppings compared to other places. My wife had the chicken wrap, which she said was okay but had too much sauce. Overall, I would not go back and I do not recommend this restaurant. However, it's up to you.

I ordered takeout for dinner tonight from Bernie's. I got the brisket Mac and cheese, which was dried out and had very little cheese sauce. The Caesar salad had wilted romaine leaves, only 2 and a half croutons, a sprinkle of powdered Parmesan cheese, and very little lettuce. The brisket poutine was also dried out and hardly had any gravy on it. I was disappointed with the quality of the food from Bernie's.

The waitress was very friendly and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and the menu was extensive, making it hard to decide what to order. I ended up choosing the breaded shrimp appetizer with fries. The fries were tasty, but the shrimp was only alright. The dish came with 6 very large breaded shrimp. My husband ordered the BLT sandwich with soup, and he enjoyed it as well.

We had lunch the lunch special chicken caesar wrap and a side of broccoli cheddar soup. It was so filling we took half of our sandwiches home. The waiter was extremely polite an cheerful. We would go back for another quick lunch.

Looking for a place to have a quick lunch before hitting hwy 2 . Stopped in Bryran and enjoyed a nice house salad and baked mac n cheese. Hubby had a good hamburger . Pretty big place , seems to be a favorite with the locals at the bar. Glad we found it and will stop by again.
