We came for bottomless brunch, but waited 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. We were told that our two-hour limit started from the time of our booking because they needed the table back. Due to the slow service and one of our meals taking over an hour to arrive, we decided not to participate in the bottomless brunch. We had to follow up multiple times and ended up spending nearly 3 hours at the table waiting to pay. The drinks were slow to come, nobody checked in on us to see if we needed anything else, and the food was mediocre. The Buttermilk chicken main dish consisted of only three small pieces the size of goujons, and the pizza was undercooked. Overall, a very strange business model and disappointing experience.

There were mice running across the kitchen countertops. I was in the back section of the restaurant late at night near the pizza oven when I witnessed mice running around and over the countertops near the plates. I know that where there is food, there are mice, but it was unsettling to see them storing large bags of flour under the pizza oven on the floor, with all the mice running towards it. It was disgusting.

I love Martello hall! I’ve been the past 2 years for my birthday and many times for food and drinks! They are a full service venue brunch lunch dinner drinks and late bar music! Lots of options for table bookings and private hire. The service can be slow due to running short staffed possibly but the servers hosts bar staff are always so lovely. Great food, big stone pizza oven in the back and plenty of options on the menu for all dietary requirements including vegan dairy free etc. Great drinks beer wine sparkling menu as well as cocktails and in house gin! Hugely recommend for brunch birthday plans group plan or even drinks. Open mornings until 3am so there’s always time to visit!

Had my wedding reception here. Adam the events manager was very communicative and made sure everything ran smoothly. The venue was very accomodating, staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly, and everyone had a fantastic time. Food was good, drinks were lovely, and the whole evening was very well executed. Special shout out to James and Jacob, two of our fantastic bartenders, who took good care of us into the early hours.

!!! Awesome !!! Went for a birthday and the venue was really great. There was a wide selection of drinks, staff management are very friendly and accommodating will be for sure recommending and going back there again. Thanks for the lovely evening :
