Yatay - London

We had a great lunch at Yatay, sat overlooking the chefs as they prepared us some seriously tasty small plates of food. I recommend the beef tartare, the broccoli and the ’dirty fries’ in particular.

We entered the restaurant to be told that they only had a limited menu of 10 dishes, which was extremely disappointing as they had no dishes that we wanted to order and we could not leave as we had booked it over a credit card. The waiter was extremely arrogant and not at all helpful. The portion dishes were minuscule and fit for a mouse. There was no flavour in any dish whatsoever. Two of the guests were vegetarian and all the vegetable dishes had a flavour of meat as it was cooked on the same grill. The top that we were told we only had the table for a limited amount of time.

It was NYE in Central London but £85 for that was steep. We were also thrown out pretty soon even though it was empty in there. Not happy

Went there on nye and loved it, great vibe, amazing food, great service, a bit expensive but makes sense.
