Compact French bistro at british museum. good set menu before 17 o'clock.

Lovely pre-theatre meal at this quirky, fun restaurant. The food was delicious and the wine selection was reasonable. We were disappointed that they’ve gotten rid of the set prix fixe menu after 5pm and prices have gone up a bit from what is currently posted online.

Our booking for two people was lost. we waited while two seemingly inexperienced coworkers argued where we should sit. we got a table for four from two smaller tables. when we sat down, the tables were pulled apart and the waiter said he needed to book it for others. I said good, but it had to be gone to stop us from sharing a table. he moved it to a customs menu immediately, but 15 minutes later we were not asked for our drink order. we left. was already often in sf, but this time can be the last.

Very disappointing. Eating is unusable. restaurant quite empty when we passed over to others who were full of pre-theater quantity.

Amazing eating, great service and beautiful ambiente. I loved every moment! it was a real choice!
