Large tapas restaurant between covent garden and leicester square with artdeco glass, candlestick and large wooden stands. has a good lively atmosphere with music and flamenco on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 20 o'clock. good selection of tapas, cocktails and four types of sangria.
After a couple of pints in a pub that man, his friends and I drove here for some tapas. el diablo sangria, arroz negro with prawnen and squid, croquetas, gambas and Jamon-Charcuterie. that's nice. good ambiente. it's dark, but charming. I couldn't get any good photos though (I hate with flash! . but who cares? we had a good time. the next time, if they have live music and dance.
Had a great night out here. came around 18.30 clock before a west end show and there was still a great atmosphere inside. the jug of sangria was delicious and generous. they all enjoy beautiful tapas. our highlights were the pollen alla romesco, Spanish meatballs, the selection of wood charcoal, the kalamars and the patten. the gourmet company discounted from 50% made the price very rewarding. if we weren't so full after the beautiful tapas, we would have liked to have tasted the good selection at dessert. great location and friendly staff.
I was expecting an overage restaurant and food for tourists based on the location but I was greatly surprised by the lovely atmosphere and the well presented Spanish food. The set menu is good value for money.
