Putney Fire Bar and Grill - London

Upon arrival, we had to wait to be seated even though there were only a few people in the restaurant. We ordered our meal and drinks, but had to remind the waitress twice before they finally arrived 20 minutes later. When our barbecue ribs finally arrived, they looked nothing like the picture on the menu - they resembled something you would find at a supermarket. The food seemed to be poorly prepared and it was evident that the grill was not properly heated. The service was lackluster and it seemed like they were more focused on takeout orders. Overall, I would not recommend Putney Fire Bar and Grill - it's best to steer clear of this place.

Finding myself sitting on hard wooden stools, I opted for Kirin Ichiban since they were out of beer.

This pub is a solid option, easy and predictable. It may not be particularly thrilling, but it gets the job done.

A big, long pub on Putney High St which isn't sure if it's a locals boozer, gastropub, restaurant or trendy bar.
