Amazing, super authentic, eating incredible. 10/10 the ambiente is also very beautiful, felt like in japan and service was great
Absolutely brilliant. all about this beautiful little restaurant will put a smile on her face. the hospitable manager in front of the housewife is efficient and thoughtful. the atmosphere is friendly and very quiet, with the owners adorable children quietly entertaining through the. the extensive menu contains all classics that they would hope and expect. we had hühneryakitori tender, but at the same time feeling a breeze. deep fried soft bowls crab stunning delicious. tempura avocado super light and lacy batter. lachs sashimi was beautifully fresh, qualitatiw high quality fish. we had a selection of sushi rolls: all were expert and very tasty. the standout dish for me was the crispy vaulted tempura rolling just fabulous, one of the best things I had eaten all year round. this is not a beautiful, shiny place. it is authentic and real. go here to eat well and spend happy times with those who love them. the prices are absolutely excellent. three of us ate very good for £52 (including service). I have often heard and used the phrase itself that cheap and sushi should never be found in the same set. okasan shows that there is an exception to this rule! the location is ideal next to the fun of the Portobello market, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon of shopping and watching people. okasan is a well kept secret that was recommended to us by a friend who has gone there for years. it is immediately a family lover for us, and I hope we will often go there for the coming years. highly recommended.
I had an incredible time at this restaurant. The service was fast and efficient. Sitting outside allowed us to enjoy the sunshine and the seating was surprisingly comfortable. The sushi was outstanding, even for those who don't like fish, with options like the Crispy Chicken Roll and the Mixed box set, which came with either edamame or miso soup. This is a great choice for a delicious and affordable lunch, especially for students.
