Bidra med feedbackIf you want a pizza that looks like it has something on top of it to get your teeth into, then this is the place. A rustic-looking base adds to the taste with a charcoal taste. If it looks good, does it taste good? It certainly did.
Pizza was initially delivered cold but since then I have had a very positive experience with the customer service team who have been excellent and the standard of the food here is typically excellent. Would recommend.
Staff are good. The place smells great. I would suggest not getting it as a take away or to share with friends, as when I did this the base just disintegrated on the 5 minute walk home. Good quality pizza in every other respect. Service was friendly but they took our plate away before we 'd finished eating. The 'foccasia ' is actually just pizza bread, and a lot of it, we ordered 1 portion and it was a very large amount, I would suggest charge less and serve less. Tables are very small, a bit more space would be nice. The crust dippers are really nothing special, out of a bottle probably, looks like mayo. I probably wouldn 't go back. The only reason I would recommend over any other pizza joint is the burrata. Also, £7.50 for a 440ml can of IPA is a bit dear. Chilli oil didn 't look like chilli oil, tasted ok, but leaked everywhere and we had to ask for it. Service charge included at 12.5
The pizza base is thin which is good and the portion of pizza is really satisfying. There is a traditional Italian pizza you can find it.
As always Zia Lucia(wherever you go) it doesn't disappoint at all, delicious pizza with great quality of ingredients, good value for money and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait for the next one that will be probably with the charcoal dough that i love so much.
