Chipotle Mexican Grill - London

It was our first experience at Chipotle, and I have to say I was underwhelmed. The tortilla chips were bland and unsalted; I personally prefer them salted. I felt like I received an excessive amount of guacamole but not enough rice. The steak portion was decent, and the chicken burrito was passable, but it lacked flavor, even with the addition of sauces and sour cream. There was a lot of rice, but not enough meat, in my opinion. I just don’t see what all the excitement is about.

I regret to give this restaurant a one-star rating due to the service. My girlfriend and I arrived at 8:30 PM on a Tuesday evening with high hopes for the food and overall experience. However, we were informed that the kitchen had closed. The way the staff communicated this felt rude, inappropriate, and sarcastic, prompting my girlfriend to walk out in frustration. One staff member even suggested that "Domino's might be open," which might have seemed funny in the moment, but was not amusing to us as customers looking to have a meal. This situation could have been handled with more politeness. I sincerely hope that the staff receives better training in customer service at other locations.

I hope this was just a one-time issue, but I ordered two burrito bowls—one with chicken and one with sofritos (vegan). Unfortunately, the vegan bowl was only half full, and they mistakenly labeled the chicken bowl as sofritos. Thankfully, we caught the error, but I wouldn't consider this location vegan-friendly. It felt like a waste of time and money. I hope they can improve.

I had a fantastic experience at this spot known for their Mexican wraps and salads. The flavors are authentic and vibrant, and the quality of ingredients is top-notch. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is great. It's a perfect choice for anyone looking for a fresh, delicious Mexican meal in a cozy setting.

For those prices I am expecting more care and attention on doing your M&P(big avocado skin and bone on guacamole) . I believe a blind chef could do better. And as is not the first time, seems to be a rule more that an exemption. Disappointed!
