Bengal Spice - London

Flew in to watch Arsenal v Liverpool and had this place booked.. Absolutely tremendous. Staff so helpful and friendly. Couldn't give this any lower than 5 stars ... You want a real curry? Go here!!!

After wandering around the West End for a while looking for an Indian restaurant that accommodates coeliacs (my wife has it), we gave up and headed back towards Holloway Road. We were in town from Edinburgh for an Arsenal game and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant while walking up Holloway Road. We only had cokes to drink so we didn't need to bring our own beverages, but the food was incredibly delicious. Mr. Ali and his son provided great service. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this restaurant to others.

This is the best curry that I have ever tasted! The dinner portion was so good that I regret not ordering more to take home. I wish I lived closer so I could make this my go-to restaurant. The chef is wonderful and clearly puts love into every dish that he makes. The menu is extensive and the food is of top quality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Lovely meal at Bengal Spice on Holloway Road. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty and the waiter was keen to make sure we ordered something we would like and not something too similar to each other if we were going to share. BYOB and an off licence a few doors down. First time there but we live close so will be back!

Not been for five years (I don't live in London) but I just wanted to say that this restaurant is every bit as good as I remember! Great service from the ever-present owner Mr Ali who makes sure you have the right dish for your tastes (and allows you to change it if you're not satisfied after the first bite). Good value for money and the food is fresh and tasty. Pretty busy for a Monday night too. And it's BYOB with a Sainsbury's just up the road. Hope it's not five years until I get back there!
