Banyan On The Thames - London

Food was good. Main course quite pricey but its London. Starter and dessert delicious. Service goid, ambience nice. Great location especially in the summertime by the river and watching the helicopters fly by.

My experience at Banyan On The Thames was lacklustre. Although the food was amazing, the service was very poor. We were sat in the outdoor dining section and forgotten. We were left to our own devices for most of the meal, having to enter the restaurant twice in order to seek out staff. It took a while to order drinks initially, and even longer to order food, at one point I went directly to the bar and placed a drinks order as there were no waiting staff in sight. The food was great, but for the price paid I really expected a better experience. It was my partners birthday meal and this really put a dampener on the evening.

Lovely meal ,lovely location, would definitely visit again

The bartend was the highlight of my night ! But the food was lovely the drinks were perfect and the view off the river sitting in the garden was lovely !
