Pizza Lane - Logan City

Had a quick dinner with Groupon deal last night at this eatery. I think this is one of the three longest tenancy at the Big Gun shopping village including the butcher and Nando's next door. Walked in and discovered that there is the owner himself running the show and he was so busy and even could not spare time to answer any phone take away order. Since the deal covers two regular pizzas and a garlic bread so we ordered the Peri Peri Chicken and Garlic Prawn regular pizzas. It took about 15 minutes and the owner chef rushed to present the pizza on the table. Topping of both pizzas were generous. They are thin-based pizza (not the type I prefer because I like thick-based), crusts are crispy, sauce is not too much so the pizzas do not go soggy, however I don't like the dryness feeling from the crispness of the base. Due to the price charged, I could not expect the ingredients as good as Pizza Caper and I can see that the owner chef had tried his best. I don't know his trading strategy and suppose that it is his way of doing the business. Nevertheless, I suggest him to hire a part-time during the peak hours otherwise he is stopping more customers walking in the door without attendance and even scarifies his take-away orders.

Underwhelming pizza meal. Didn't care for the base it looked & tasted like it was from the local supermarket & was doughy. Fillings were generous enough, but the whole thing was dry not enough sauce. (as Manu would comment!) Interior design of the little shop was like being at a wedding reception, quite retro

Very disappointing. Food clean but lacking love. Presentation pitiful. Had heard food things but nowhere near a good standard. Prices are high for what we received. So much potential but sense the owners don't know how to run a restaurant.

I ordered the butter chicken pizza only to find it had so little chicken that it should be called the sauce pizza. This pizza that falls under the signature range is an absolute rip off at $23. Obviously profit and ripping customers of is the order of the day at this establishment.
