Robinia - Locarno

We live with a colleague in his apartment and he told us for good food we have to go here. he was right. a dream before all the vitello tonnato! pizza is also wahnsin. I'll call that a fine pizza italiana. the prices are reasonable and still cheaper than at the piazza. only recommended. doesn't look chic, but who needs to eat if you want to eat!?

Service was very nice and had a lot of effort, but was underoccupied and therefore long waiting times. the pizza’s were ok, but not anymore. the house wine was much too warm, certainly 25 degrees upwards.

This is a great place if you are looking for value really good pizza at good prices. This is about a half mile from the city center. We didn’t go to any of the restaurants there as they are relatively expensive. We also didn’t go to a fancier restaurant as we just hiked the mountain, so this place was perfect for a family of four. The inside is like an Applebees or your standard Irish pub, but the food was good and the staff were really nice. Its the type of place you would go to regularly if it was in your neighborhood.

Simple restaurant with very good pizza. . Ask for your personal favorite toppings, they will be glad to create a pizza according your wish. Fish and some other specialties also worth trying. Friendly staff. Good wine list. A family restaurant outside of the crowded and sometimes overpriced restaurants in the city center. Perfect if you wanna visit the falconeria, it's just a short walk.

The food was really good. The servings were big. I shared my meal with my son and we still had some left. The price was about 15 25 franc per meal. These were the normal prices and we were happy and full when we left.
