Sidreria El Almacen - Llanes

Atmospheric bar/restaurant within historic Old Town adjacent to the city walls in LLanes. The bar is beautifully situated with plenty of outdoor space and tables however there were long waits at busy periods when many people were eating. Service was good and attentive with bar staff pouring sidra in the traditional method to provide fizz and life. The various bottles were 3.50 euros for a 70cl with little difference in taste. This was the same as in all the other siderias I visited in the town. A bargain! Food was competitive price wise although I didn't personally eat there myself. Portions looked generous and tempting. My favourite Bar in Llanes.

This is a nice place to and have a plate or two for dinner. One of their specialities on the blackboard are various kinds of mushrooms. My favourite dish is boletus (porcini) with picon cheese sauce. They have a quite an acceptable house Rioja at EUR 7. As we were waiting for our order, the waiter overheard us talking about patatas ali oli and just brought us a small plate to try! Such good service!

Nice setting and good food. Be warned the portions are huge. They kindly wrapped up the rest of the tortilla for us. Would recommend the croquettes cabrales and patatas aioli. Friendly staff.
