The Lobster Pot - Liverpool

The Lobster Pot on Whitechapel is a really popular fish and chip shop that offers well priced meals and was an ideal place for a quick meal. The Lobster Pot has a nice interior with an excellent first floor seating area and when we visited here that is where we sat.On our visit we had a large portion of chip's with a curry sauce which were very tasty and well priced. We've been to the Lobster Pot lot's of times over the years and we've have never had a bad experience in here.On every occasion our meals have always been spot on.If you are looking for a quick well priced meal or snack and your in this area of the city give this place a try you won't be disappointed. Truly awful. Ordered a large fish chip meal. The fish was more like a children’s portion size and tasted like it had been cooked about six hours previously. Chips were ok, but I would never ever eat from there again. Rip off.

Shocking!!! Went there to get get some food on the way home from town..... We weren't even drunk. They tried ripping us off , saying that we hadn't paid. Beware! Used to be a friendly place, staff really rude and dodgy.

The foods are too salty and oily And the size of fish is too small,although we ordered the large size and paid that price. Such a terrible experience. The box was full of salt.

Don't get the sausage. It tastes like pure rusk and has a weird tinned sausage taste. Chips were alright.
