The dish named Scouse did not resemble or taste anything like traditional Scouse, and it didn't contain any meat. Priced at £8.25, the staff seemed indifferent. I won't be dining here again.

We waited 25 minutes for two coffees, and the staff seemed completely apathetic. The drinks had no flavor and tasted like water. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

We decided to stop by during lunchtime after seeing that they offered scouse. We ended up ordering the scouse and a beef chili. The chili had a homemade taste with a slight spiciness that made it delicious. The scouse was like a thick soup and tasted wonderful. The restaurant was clean, the prices were reasonable, and we left feeling satisfied.

The food was okay, it's a cafe. The bacon and black pudding were a little undercooked, the saucy chopped tomatoes were a nice change.

This looked a nice local cafe bar as me and my wife walked down bold street looking for a bit of lunch, pleasant staff, clean cafe, thought we would try the local specility, SCOUSE, i assumed it would be similar to a beef stew with beef and vegetables, well i think we must have been given the vegetarian version, between us there wasnt one piece of meet in it, very disappointed £8-25p each for a bowl of very mushy vegetables, felt as though these tourists had been mugged,sad
