Bidra med feedbackWe usually treat ourselves to a sashimi plate with other rolls for special occasions, but this time it was a major disappointment. We didn't even finish the sashimi, and the avocado on the rolls was clearly old and soggy, indicating it had been prepared much earlier. Anyone with experience in the hospitality industry knows what expired food looks and tastes like. We debated whether to call and voice our complaints but decided it would be more exhausting than it was worth. We hoped to save someone else from making the same mistake by sharing this experience. If you're considering spending over $130 on a sushi platter here, I recommend looking elsewhere. If you want a good sushi meal, you won't find it at this place, and your wallet will thank you later. To the business owner: please take a closer look at your to-go meals, especially when you're charging customers over $100 for special occasions. You let us down—it's time to step up your game.
I wouldn't recommend getting sushi here. The sushi from the grocery store is tastier and fresher. It was quite disappointing, especially since we spent $140 on a sushi and sashimi platter for Father's Day. We've never had to throw away sushi before, but we ended up discarding at least $20 worth.
My brother took three of us to lunch at this restaurant because we were all craving some delicious Asian cuisine. Parking was surprisingly easy for a weekday lunch, as there’s a lot right in front. We were greeted promptly and quickly seated. The lunch menu offers a wide variety of great options, making it tough to choose what to eat. I ultimately went with the Moo Shu pork, which was a generous and flavorful portion, complete with six pancakes and hoisin sauce. My crispy egg rolls were also fantastic and came with sweet-and-sour sauce. Everyone at the table was pleased with their choices; my mom especially loved the chicken satay with peanut sauce. The men's restroom was clean and well-maintained. The restaurant’s interior is pleasantly decorated in a soft contemporary style, and there’s a large sushi bar at the back. I’ll definitely return to this Asian restaurant to explore more of the menu—it has so many enticing selections!
The restaurant was tidy, but the service was incredibly slow. We often had to signal our server for assistance since she was also working as the bartender. The food initially seemed good, except for a piece of metal that I found in my sushi roll. At first, I thought it was a crab shell, but it turned out to be a stiff wire, reminiscent of chewing on a staple. We suspect it came from a metal scrub brush or a grill brush. Our server quickly informed the manager, who offered us a 50% discount on our bill. Unfortunately, our appetites were spoiled, and we didn't really want to finish our meal, but we were tired and didn't want to wait any longer for service. The other rolls appeared to be fine, but we should have requested a full refund and left. In hindsight, the manager should have comped our meal entirely. I’m just relieved I discovered the metal piece; it could have caused serious harm. It was very sharp. It’s unfortunate because we had enjoyed it at first, but we won’t be returning.
We were aware that the restaurant has new ownership, so we decided to give it a try for lunch today. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The tables were dirty, the food was merely average, and the service was absolutely terrible. If you look at my previous reviews, you'll see that I'm usually very positive and give high ratings, so this experience was particularly disheartening. We won't be returning until they improve staff training and cleanliness.
