The wood-fired pizzas here are excellent, and they offer great happy hour specials along with a selection of draft beers. There's also a kids' play area where children can enjoy themselves, either in the cubby or on the grass out front.
I have been visiting this restaurant for a year, but unfortunately, the quality of both the food and service has been steadily declining. They frequently run out of ingredients for basic meals on their menu, and the staff can be quite rude and abrupt when interacting with customers. I really hope things improve, as the location is great for my family and me.
Exceptional wood-fired pizza! Very kid-friendly. We tried The Avenue, which features chicken, avocado, cranberry sauce, red onion, and brie, and it was delicious. Others in our group ordered a garlic prawn pizza, a spicy classic pepperoni, and a chicken, ham, and BBQ sauce pizza. They had a great deal for two pizzas along with a bottle of wine or a jug of beer for $45 from 5-6 pm. I’d highly recommend making a reservation!
We waited an hour and a half for three pizzas and two salads—definitely not a long wait for those items. The pizzas were actually tasty, but they had a bit too much oil, were undercooked, and some slices were floppy. That said, I appreciated the flavor. The salads were excellent. For dessert, we ordered sticky date puddings and rocky road calzones. The puddings were nice, but the rocky road was a disaster. It was undercooked, with raw dough inside, and when we cut it open, it was mostly empty except for a few crushed cherries that were apparently just cherries in syrup. It was hard to eat and tasteless, completely unworthy of the rocky road name. Everyone at the table agreed it was unpleasant. When the waitress came to clear our plates, she asked how everything was. I don’t usually voice complaints, but I mentioned that the calzones were quite bad. She simply acknowledged that they usually aren’t great, saying they were “basically just dough,” and that was the end of it. I wasn't looking for a refund of my $12, but the lack of follow-up felt lacking. Overall, I don’t think I will return, although the experience wasn’t too terrible outside of the desserts. I suggest removing that dessert option or at least improving the recipe for a true rocky road calzone.
