Menya Sandaime - Little Ferry

The ramen is tasty and reasonably priced. However, I find the bao buns to be quite expensive. I also dislike that each bowl of ramen only comes with 2 pieces of pork belly—just 2! That’s hardly enough.

I ordered a combo meal that included fried chicken and a drink. The chicken on its own was somewhat bland, but the sauce was fantastic. If you choose a combo, just come hungry because they serve generous portions. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. There was plenty of seating available when I visited on a Saturday evening. I’m definitely planning to come back to explore more of the menu!

I ordered a small chashu bowl, which was supposed to come with rice, scallions, and three pieces of grilled chashu. However, it arrived without the scallions. I approached the server to ask about it, and she made a huge fuss, insisting that we aren't allowed to add anything to the small bowl, even though it was clearly stated on the menu. I found her demeanor very rude, and to make matters worse, she charged me an extra four dollars for some scallions. This was ridiculous and the service was terrible.

The establishment is located in the food hall within hmart. This delicious savory ramen soup was absolutely delightful to the taste buds especially during the winter season. I definitely recommend this place if you want affordable ramen at a fast pace.

This is the 3rd menya I've been to. They're all relatively the same for ramen. This one has pork buns which were nice and fluffy. The ramen tasted fresh and came out quickly. Staff was friendly. They were out of gyoza which was kind of disappointing though. It is located inside an H Mart so there are a bunch of other food places to choose from which is nice because people can pick what they want and then eat together.
