Zoomski's Mid-town Coffee Shop(cafe)

We came to Little Falls for a wedding this weekend and wanted a bite for lunch and saw all the nice reviews for Zoomsky's so decided to give it a try. I'd love to give it a better review, however when we arrived it was closed, not sure how long ago that happened because I don't live here, but a new one opened in its place 18 days ago, called Café Strolaga. Good luck to the new restaurant, Small menu mainly a coffee shop. I'm posting this for to give others a heads up.

I love that it’s a local coffee shop, but they don’t have enough help to be open more which is really sad. So I haven’t been able to try their drinks yet.

Quick lunch... soup and a drink. It was very tasty. Chicken noodle...home made!

No stars. Sat at a table for 17minutes. Not one employee made eye contact or talked to us. Left without contact.

I don 't like giving negative reviews; in fact, I go out of my way to find the good in all the places I visit.I don 't know if today was an exception, an off day, or something else happened.I can 't give a review of the food. We were never served.Entering the restaurant, found that it seated 15 people, tops. A table for two was available near the door, so we sat down.And waited.An employee (I believe, she was running the register) saw us come in and sit down.Another employee (probably, appeared to be delivering food to another table) saw us.And we waited. She got a coffee refill for the table next to us.And we waited.After 17 minutes of no one acknowledging our presence, we got up to leave. On our way out of the door, I heard someone from the kitchen ask the two front of house employees Who is that couple sitting in the corner? I guess it took someone from the kitchen to realize we weren 't invisible. It was too late; neither of the wait staff was able to respond before we were on our way to the car.It 's too bad. Based on this experience, we 'll never go back and give a second chance.EDIT (after response from business on Google):We would have loved to have ordered at the counter.I didn 't see a sign on the entry door that said Please order at the counter .I didn 't see a sign at the counter that said Order Here .Not ONE of the employees who walked by, made eye contact, or were standing around said Is this your first time here? We take the orders at the counter or Hi! If you want to order, please come to the counter or Welcome. Can I help you? or Hello. I 'm from out of town, and I 've never been to your cafe before. Is it too much to ask to show some kindness to a stranger?
