Alcantara 50 - Lisboa

This restaurant offers more than delicious and traditional Portuguese Seafood. The owner and his stuff are super friendly and take a lot of time for their customers. I really recommend this place and we will come back for sure. As food recommendation I advice to go ahead with the suggestions of the stuff. The octopus was amazing. Obrigada and see u soon!

Wonderful, authentic, reasonably priced, Portuguese meal. Having spent the morning at the LX Factory and wandering the streets in the pouring rain with 2 kids trying to find somewhere for lunch, Trip Advisor led us to this discreet, family-run restaurant down a back street. Oh, how grateful we were to have found this culinary haven! The food was fantastic. Probably the best meal we had across a 4-day stay in Lisbon. The veal pasties, octopus fritters, and pork shank were the highlights, but everything was delicious. The husband and wife hosts were extremely hospitable, and despite the fact there was a queue for a table forming outside we never felt rushed. We loved this place. Slightly off the beaten track from Lisbon city centre but definitely worth the effort (but please book in advance or get there early to avoid disappointment! .

Very well received by the owners in a familiar atmosphere. Food was very good and served promptly with no detail spared. Overall, a very good experience to be repeated!

Everything was amazing here and it’s the best dinner I had in Lisbon! We were there with a group of 9 and they prepared us their best dishes. Wonderful hosts as they really take the time to connect and Joao was so funny! I will definitely come back!
