Bidra med feedbackI had to take the time to write a stellar review about the experience my family received! Scott Yarnall, the Front Office Manager, surprised us with the best hotel customer service! He wore the hat of the late night shuttle driver , (I am assuming they were short staffed like many service industries these days. and we didn 't realize he was the manager until we arrived at the hotel and asked a question. He was extremely personable and went out of his way to engage the passengers and create a warm welcome. He dropped the passengers that were there for airport parking only at their vehicle, so they didn 't have to make the hike down to the back parking lot.My entire family was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service and attention to detail provided by Scott to ensure our last minute stay at the Sheraton was great. It is team members like Scott that ensure customer loyalty and really set a brand apart from the rest; especially these days! Sheraton is very fortunate to have such a professional and hard working manager who is willing to wear any hat to make sure the customer experience is not compromised.*4 stars for rooms not due to any cleaning or staff prevented issues. There are regular updates and maintenance over time that could be improved that didn 't align with the 5 star customer service. I wanted to note, so hopefully it will get on the list for updates. ;
I'm sorry this is an honest review. I arrived at rhe hotel at 9am hoping o can check in the hotel. I was told I can check in about 12pm. Waiting around the lobby stopped by numerous times since I see other check. But when I went up to the desk I was told they didn't have any rooms. So I checked back again at 130 still nothing even though I see others checking in. I stopped by at 3 PM still nothing. You know the time we finally got to check in was at 5PM!! Can you believe that. I have never been to a hotel and wasn't able to check in on time. I flew in out of state and can't believe it.
The hotel is in a quiet area with easy access to restaurants and major roadways. Check-in was a breeze and the staff working the front desk were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room furnishings, like many of the common areas, were starting to show signs of wear and tear. The property has a decent fitness center, and the indoor pool was not too bad...just a bit older. I was staying with a group of people and discovered some rooms have microwaves while others do not. You might want to ask if this is something you will need during your stay. The Member's Lounge was open and available around the clock. They served a complimentary breakfast in the morning and offered a decent selection of finger food in the evening. Refreshments and bagged snacks were available the other times. This was a welcome change as many properties I stay at continue to offer excuses for the clubs not being open. My only criticism in the common areas often appeared half-hazardly cleaned, especially the elevators. It was something noticeable but not a showstopper. I would stay here again if in the area.
Absolutely NOT worth the price tag. The amenities are almost non-existent for the room. Examples you ask? Got it. 1. The king bed contained a sheet set and a blanket the thickness of a paper towel. I had to call the front desk for extra2. There is a single cup coffee maker in the room, but no utensils anywhere around to stir in creams or sugars. I had to visit the front desk.3. There was Earl Gray tea, an orange tea, and 2 medium roast coffees. No decaf. I had to find the cleaning crew to ask for some. 4. The shower ceiling is peeling, and has, what I can only guess, is mold shining through.5. The window in the room did give us some company for the evening. A nice little spider 's web in the corner, with what appeared to be 2 little spider friends. 6. No microwave in the room for if you order in, bring something with you or just need to reheat your coffee. 7. This is ridiculous, and I do honestly feel silly even having to type it out, BUT...the trash bags, all of them throughout the room, are too small for the can. So, when you throw something in with any weight to it, it falls in. That 's fun. 8. There was a chip (courtesy of a former guest) underneath the desk.9. Under the bed, I 'm not sure I can even describe the filth. If I had an extra light I could 've used to snap the pic, I would have. I assure you, that room has not seen a thorough cleaning in A LONG time. Disgusting. Bottom line, look for other accommodations while in the area. This place is trash.
Hard to find a parking spot and housekeeping is terrible. They are supposed to do the rooms every 3rd day. But I haven't seen them and it's going on my fifth day. You have to run the water for 7 to 8 minutes in shower for it to get any cold water. Maintenance check it out and it initially was at over 110 degrees.
