Do not use this company for catering. It was an absolute nightmare. We used them for my wedding and the entire thing was a disaster. While planning, Craig quoted us one price, then sent us an invoice for a much higher price. We had to negotiate it down, and still ended up paying a price much more than we’d originally been quoted- for no apparent reason. From the very beginning, it felt dishonest and strange, but we were hopeful that the food would be good. Our hopes were severely misplaced.For our wedding dinner, we ordered turkey sandwiches, green salad, and pasta salad for 140 people. What we got was a soggy green salad and turkey slices, which ran out after about 90 people ate. For the wedding reception, we ordered Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownies, angel food cake, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, candied pecans, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries for 300 people. What we got was Costco brand pound cake, strawberries, and whipped cream. That’s it. The dessert ran out after about an hour into the 2 hour reception. I’m being incredibly specific so that everyone thinking about hiring this company for their event can be properly warned. It wasn’t just that something was a little bit off, no big deal. We didn’t get what we ordered, the food totally ran out, and we paid THOUSANDS of dollars for this headache.Almost four whole months after the event, we’re still waiting for part of the refund we were promised. The checks Craig Borlik sends us keep bouncing. It’s been the most frustrating experience. We can’t wait to finally be done with them so we never have to think about it again. What should have been the best day of my whole life was almost ruined by the absolutely disastrous catering. Buyer beware, indeed.
They catered for my wedding and the food was okay. the actual wedding and catering was great. But planning and payment was a mess. They kept trying to up prices and change what we ordered. When we paid, Craig called and said the payment didn’t work so we gave him our info again. When we looked at our bank statement, HE CHARGED US TWICE. After complaining he said he couldn’t cancel the payment?? And would send a check in the mail. After weeks with no check, he ignored all of our calls and texts, didn’t hear from him again. We eventually had to go through the bank to cancel everything. Overall, food isn’t bad, but seems like an unprofessional business.
Great gluten free options very careful about cross contamination. Dedicated fryer.
The staff gave a great first impression but upon ordering (jalapeño burger) they never asked if I wanted a drink or fries along with it and didn’t tell me the burger didn’t come with anything. The burger also looked like it was smashed and consisted of only 2 buns, a slice and a half of jalapeño, and the burger patty, which I ate depressingly. My wife got lemonade and it’s premade to be really sour and served that way and then have you dilute it with water. State Street Feed and Supply has potential but the service I get at McDonalds seems more professional. I never posted a review before but I hope this can help them improve.
