Bidra med feedbackI really enjoy dining at this restaurant for both lunch and dinner. The food is delicious and the customer service is excellent. Reservations are a must, even for us regular customers. If we don't book in advance, we can't get a table!
This was our first time visiting this restaurant and our first time dining on a patio since the COVID lockdown. As locals, we were eager to try out and show support for this establishment, and we were not let down! The food was both delicious and beautifully presented. We were impressed by the variety of options on the menu. Additionally, the service provided by our waitress was exceptional. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
This was my our first meal at a restaurant since last August almost a year! Thanks to Covid lockdowns. So I guess we were expecting the moon, the stars and throw in a comet whilst you're at it. But whilst the meal in general...was good it wasn't great and I was a smidge disappointed. Honestly, the best thing about the whole culinary experience was the delightful bread and oil dip absolutely delish and plenty of it. We shared an arugula and goat cheese salad which was perfectly nice, nothing special tho'. Then my husband, who's a vegetarian, had the eggplant dish and he enjoyed it a lot altho' he did complain it was too rich. Not much to choose from if you're vegetarian but I'm sure they could have amended some of their dishes to suit him. I had the steak tenderloin with mushrooms, garlic, potatoes and veggies. When it arrived at the table I immediately looked down and all I saw was brown and black mush with a bit of green from the asparagus. I think it should have had more vegetables of a colourful variety, perhaps roasted red or yellow pepper, some yellow zucchini, cherry tomatoes, but something bright and colourful that would have broken up all that brown from the steak and mushrooms. I asked for medium and it was nicely pink, BUT I had FOUR bites which I had to discreetly remove from my mouth because they were gristly and inedible. Now, I have cooked tenderloin steak at home many times and not once have I had inedible gristly bits so it makes me wonder if this steak was in fact tenderloin. Having said all that, the plate was delicious loved the mushrooms, sauce, garlic, potatoes, the tender meat that I did get and the asparagus. As for quantity it was the perfect portion for me. Dessert: I had the creme brulee. Smallish round portion but, alas, the crusty sugary caramel top had been overtorched and it was very dark and very bitter to taste. However the custard underneath was divine. Silky and smooth very tasty. I wish there'd been more of it. The waiting staff were fine altho' I noticed our waitress had the same rote script that she gave at every table around us but I guess that's to be expected nowadays. I will go back with my daughter perhaps for lunch one day as the location is so pretty, but I won't have the steak again.
This was my second visit to the restaurant and it was still excellent. The eggplant dish was to die for. I highly recommend this place, but be sure to make a reservation in advance. We visited on a Friday evening and it was very busy.
We really enjoyed our meal here and the staff was excellent. service was fast and eating was hot and fresh!
