Waffle Shop - Lincoln

The positives are definitely Food was amazing. The service was extremely friendly and a joy to be around. The atmosphere was exactly what you want in a breakfast diner.The negatives are the servers need more help and support running food. Even large serving trays would be better than 5 trips for 3 people’s food. I would have given 5 stars based on the kindness of the staff and the delicious food, but managment has to take the lack of support for the staff and the biggest upset was no changing table for my baby. What am I supposed to do get on the floor? Change her in the dinning area? It’s rude and inconsiderate to families.

My daughter and I stopped in for breakfast this morning and unfortunately we were disappointed. I asked for a well done omelette but it was not cooked throughly on the inside. They remade it but it came back worse and we both received country potatoes that were under cooked and cold. Overall we were not impressed; however, when we went to pay the bill and the lovely lady at the front counter asked how our meal was I told her. To my surprise she took the receipt and handed me back my credit card apologized and said that she would let the cook know. We were not expecting that and I thank her (I don't know her name) for asking but more importantly I thank her for caring enough to comp our meal because I would have just paid it even though both meals we not prepared well. Will we go back? Not sure but appreciate her just the same.

Took a friend there as a thank you. We were well satisfied when we left. Kind to your wallet. Food was very good. Service was excellent. Nice room. Well worth going to located in downtown Lincoln.

Came here the other day exploring for places to try. Glad I popped in here it definitely does have a nice southern style kinda vibe. ????? Good was on point ??

This place was incredible !We were surprised how busy it wasBut soon understood whyWe asked for outside seating which was accommodatedWe had a wonderful lunch we ate soup salad and a huge Club sandwichTopped off by a train going by !Absolutely Fantastic !!Go there !Enjoy !
