Really wanted to like this place. It’s in Lincoln, they’re trying something different, the staff was very nice and the service was good. But the food was seriously lackluster. My wife is a good cook and every dish, from the watermelon and arugula salad, to the meatloaf and mashed potatoes to the s’more and brownie dessert, she’s made better. For a prix fixe dinner it’s not that pricey, but it’s still $60 a person, without drinks, so we were expecting much better. The Chef’s Table in Rocklin is much better. I read the reviews stating they had Happy hour. I walked in (as I was in the area) with high expectations! Boy was I wrong, the attendant abruptly told me that if I didn't have reservations she couldn't serve me. strange, the limited bar seats were ALL EMPTY!! All I can say is LEARN something from your competition..... La Provence All day long, they are happy to serve and collect money from me.... Night Day difference !!

Loves this restaurant! the atmosphere is unique, eat excellent, like the wein. we have been often and have reservations for a fairytale. we are so happy to have such a special place to eat here in lincoln
