It didn't excite me. We got some spritzes (which we asked for when none arrived) and they brought us some chips (which we asked for after a while because nothing arrived). The place was a bit cold in every way. We didn't eat any food so I can't rate it Price per person: €1–10 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
In the last few months I have frequented this place several times on different occasions, apart from a few adjustments I must say that overall it could have been fine. Having worked both in the kitchen and as a bartender and waitress, I was trying to understand what could be a bad day or simple lack of staff. But this time we really hit rock bottom. I came with my partner and 2 couples of friends, we sat independently outside and waited patiently. After a good 15 minutes, one of us gets up and goes inside the restaurant to call the attention of the waiters and take the order. The first guy arrives and takes the order. (Leaving aside the lack of preparation regarding soft drinks and the several times I had to repeat the order because the music was so deafening that not even the waiter could hear us). Another 15 minutes pass and neither the drinks nor the cutting boards arrive, on the other hand the same waiter returns and makes us pay for the drinks, without however worrying that we were without ashtrays and napkins, so another of us got up to take them from the tables neighbors. Finally the cutting boards arrive, but still nothing to drink. We attract the attention of a second waiter who, after checking, asks us to repeat the order since it never arrived. And so a good 40/45 minutes passed after we entered and still none of us had drinks (I specify that out of 6 people, there were 2 drinks, 2 juices, 1 coca-cola and 1 beer). I could have understood the wait if the place had been full... God forbid. But that wasn 't the case, there were perhaps around thirty seats. But the highlight was the food... nothing like I remembered. 1 small pizza and 1 focaccia, both dry and hard, 2 slices of raw meat which honestly looked like the one from the supermarket left open in the fridge and consumed the next day, a sandwich which, even now, none of us have been able to understand what it was stuffed with, the pasta with mushrooms and tasteless sausage , overcooked and frozen, you couldn 't taste any flavour, cauliflower au gratin which please let 's spread a merciful veil. And... drum roll... Aubergine Parmigiana , as salty as the Dead Sea not to mention the acidity of the sauce. These dishes were served in the saucers that are usually used for olives and peanuts to be clear about the portions. The only thing that was good enough was the half slice of roast turkey. Although all 6 of us were disappointed by the portions and the quality, having many things to continue talking about, we decide to have a second drink. So we go in to order 2 bitters, 1 limoncello and a peach tea. (I would like to point out that usually the waiter should notice when a table finishes eating, start clearing it and, if necessary, be the one to ask if they want to order something else without constantly making the customers get up). At the checkout we were told that, since the event was Latin evening, the first drinks were €12...Now I say, we spent €96 between 6 of us, we 've been here since 7pm, we want to order you the second round, the first drink is technically Has this already been done or am I wrong? Also because I remember that €96 for 6 people, but 3 of them took juice and coca-cola... Oh and if the owner would like to reply to me too that there are places with the same prices but with less quantity or that we must respect the work of others, I will reply immediately. I worked in Milan, in the Castello Sforzesco area, I had some GOOD aperitifs/apericenas paying around €15/20 in the CENTER OF MILAN. Furthermore, there are also many bars in the area that offer a lower price or the same as yours, with better quality of food, service and environment. As far as I and we are concerned we will obviously never return. And I hope you understand that reviews are used to understand what type of problems a business has and not to discredit the work behind it. Good evening! Qualified, friendly staff and excellent breakfasts during the week. A serious shortcoming is the poor staff on Sunday morning, it is almost impossible to have a decent breakfast on Sunday morning. Personally I saw the coffee I had ordered, together with cappuccino and croissant, already made and left on the machine for 4 minutes, imagine the coffee I drank. I recommend increasing staff on Sunday mornings.
