The pictures on TV and the food you get aren't the same alot lest food on plate and way to much seasoned on
This was my first time ever at a red lobster, for 15 years my husband has been trying to get me to try it. The food was okay but our service was awful and the waitress wasn’t very friendly even though she tried her hardest to smile. I get everyone has a bad day.We were sat by a sweet young host girl who thanked us for waiting and told us she appreciated us coming in, she then told us that our waitress would be Kayla for the night.We sat for about 15 minutes or so before she even came to take our drink order. It then took her another 15 minutes before she actually brought us our drinks. We then ordered our food.We ordered the Crabby cheese fries as an appetizer which took almost 30 minutes to arrive to our table, and although they were good there was so much paper from the lining mixed into the cheese they were not edible.We then waiting 30-40 minutes for our food to come out of the kitchen.Upon paying our bill on the tablet provided at the table the waitress went to the kiosk they typically use to enter your food for the kitchen and started to complain to another server about her tip she had received while pointing at us. At that point we had to ask another server for to go containers because our waitress was no where to be found.We seen more servers sitting in booths on their phones than we seen actually waiting on customers or cleaning tables.
The food was great, the wait time was brief, and the service was excellent. I would definitely return.
The food was excellent, and our waitress was incredibly friendly, giving us all the time we needed to decide on our orders. The dining room was just a few tables shy of being full, but it was quieter than I expected, considering the number of diners. The store manager, Dennis, also checked in to see if we were enjoying our meal, which added to the positive experience. This was a refreshing change compared to some other full-service restaurants in the area, where staff can sometimes seem put out by customers even when the place is mostly empty. However, the loud discussions among the staff about adult topics quickly shifted from amusing to irritating. I'm hopeful that our next visit to Red Lobster will be just as enjoyable as the first, especially since it appears to be the best option in the area for a relaxed dining experience, and the food is definitely worth the price.
