Bidra med feedbackKasamama is a great place for lunch. There was about 4 type of appetizer and 10+ main dishes to choose from and all are homecooking. It included the most typical Peruvian local dishes and so it was great for trying out the different varieties. Best part was we were the only tourist there and all other tables were locals. Loved it.
This review is for the Huancayo location. If you've been to buffets before, you know what to expect. Rice, pasta, bread, potatoes, and maybe some meat dishes. Here is no different. Simply put, it's just not worth the money. Most restaurants in the neighbourhood offer a full lunch menu (starter, main, drink, dessert for a third of the price, and will be much higher quality. So the food... aside from the overcooked and dried out starches, they had a chicken in cream sauce (aji de gallina? that was very tasty, some hunks of beef that were salty and chewy, and some ok rice pudding. I can't understand how locals can pay so much for this when there are so many better options out there. The staff were friendly at least, and the decor had some character.
A very good contestant for my personal top 10 restuarants in Lima, i went there with no expectatios and came out not only full on the great food, the attention was good.
Great peruvian food, both in quality and quantity. Andean dishes are the best, and those peruvian herbs infusions simply awesome.
