Pane E Vino Liège

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. we chose the 5 course surprise menue and asked for wine pairing. the food and ingredients where absolutely not fresh and there were no single explanations for the served wines, not even the mentioning of the grapes. the atmosphere was not representative for a gourmet restaurant as the chef was regularly distracted on the phone or other guests walking with street clothes into the kitchen area (it has an open space kitchen visible for the guests). the service staff was friendly and helped to save the evening. the toilets were dirty and this felt disgusting. A michelin star restaurant represents other standards then what we experienced in Pane e Vino and we would not recommend for special occasions nor will we go again.

Delicice manger et bouvier! French prob all wrong but superb food and drink here a gastronomic feast

15/08/2022 : there are 3 tables in the restaurant (one of 5, one of 2 and our). The waiter wants to do well. Aperio and antipasti are good. the dishes arrived after 1 hour of waiting, the cod was dry and the stabbing beef tagliata was sole, not to mention the smell; perished cheese. we are very disappointed that we have paid this more than €1,000 the bill. We're not coming back.

This was nice. The lobster ravioli a bit dry but good taste. The St Jacques as starter were perfect. Good service.

Friendly and helpful staff. The antipastis are very varied and very good. The food is fresh. The pasta is good too. The menu runs around 35 40 euros per person. Without drinks.
