Athenian Grill - Lexington

Whether I am great Greek eating or just want a super tasty meal, athenian grill has become a go-to. delicious meat and always fresh ingredients. the gyros never fail and the kokinisto (bef stew) is a killer shell. they are always very welcoming and it is just a great experience.

Had lunch there 2 June, with three other friends. We didn’t know what to expect but am always willing to try new things and we were not disappointed. The portions were large, the food great, and the managers and workers were great. They were pleasurable and helpful in what to pick. With all of the seating being taken and their air conditioner out they grabbed a table and chairs and put it outside for us to sit. It was a nice area, shaded and cool. Thanks Jenny and team!!!

I was so thrilled to find great Greek food!! The folks here are just a joy to talk to, and they are rightfully proud of the food! My husband had mentioned he wanted gyros earlier in the day, so we couldn't pass up stopping at Athenian Grill. I got the falafel on pita with tzatziki sauce (my favorite part! . It was perfect! Their lemon potatoes are absolutely delicious! Do not miss out on those potatoes! We split some grilled veggies, which were fresh, and really topped off our meal. We both look forward to going back as soon as possible! It's so good we will drive the 45minutes from our place because it's that good! There's seating upstairs, and the bathroom is so clean. I cannot recommend this Grill enough. They even have a drive through if you need to grab food on the go. Great place, all around!

Stopped by Athenian Grill for a quick bite to eat with a friend while passing through Lexington. They had the Lamb Gyro and i had the lamb burger!! Both were really good and made in decent time. The inside dining area sort of looks like kids play room but it’s a clean space to eat in. The staff seemed a little agitated and stressed so it gave a stand offish vibe when interacting with them but over all it was a good place to eat at

Cute little place. I got the lamb gyro with roasted veggies. Food tasted great, good portions and affordable. Limited seating upstairs but intimate. Staff/owner was really helpful with menu questions.
