Bidra med feedbackWhile the vegan sandwich is the best, can we talk about the vegan orange cake? Moist, not too sweet, and covered in chocolate ganache. WOW. I never get tired of it. Do yourself a favor and get a slice. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-19
Another vote for the vegan sandwich aka the Soy Vey. A thin slice of vegan bacon on top of a tofu egg which is made from a slice of marinated spiced tofu. Great, fresh vegetables. And the bagels were out of this world!
The Soy Vey! was AMAZING! Every part of the sandwich was out of this world! I think it’s worth the relatively high price.
Their bagels are really good. The hummus not so much. Too much salt and really spicy which I don 't like. One time they under toasted the bagel and was not enjoyable with the amount of hummus they put on. The Soy Veh on the other hand was absolutely amazing. They put quite an interesting spin on the egg part of the sandwich. It 's expensive though. $8 dollars for a breakfast sandwich
This cute spot is located in downtown L/A and is a gem for the city. Parking is a little difficult but I always opt for one of the two parking garages nearby that are free under 1hr. I got the soy veh bagel sandwich, a little pricey at $8 but delicious. The bagel included house made vegan eggs, fake bacon, greens, tomato and aioli. Bagels are nice and crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside. Delicious. There is tons of seating and lots of goodies for sale like local drinks, cage free eggs, candies, chips, etc. I definitely got a huge hipster/trendy college student vibe but thats not surprising as Bates is about 20 minutes away. Definitely will be returning!
