Dogfish Inn - Lewes

We stay here every year and couldn't be happier. The location is great, rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is super friendly. I love walking to the office in the morning to grab a fresh cup of coffee! The beach is a 10 minute walk and they provide beach towels, chairs and even bicycles if you don't feel like walking or driving there. Another great perk is that they are dog friendly! Can't wait to go back!

Perfect spot to enjoy Lewes! Very comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and all the amenities you need and then some. The inn keepers are friendly and helpful. 2nd street shops and restaurants are a close walk as is the beach, Definitely recommend.

The staff was amazing and the rooms were great. There was an issue with my reservation (on my part) and they were able to accommodate me. The town is very walkable and dog friendly, would definitely stay there again!Rooms: 5/5

The front desk team is always friendly and the staff clearly embrace the hospitality profession. We've lost count of our visits we've been visiting for years, at least 3 4 times per year. We bring our gravel bikes and SUP. If it rains, OK the motel porch is a perfect spot for people and vehicle watching and drinking coffee with a book from Biblion: used books rare finds, a short jaunt down town. OR, just head to the main house loads of books and vinyl to keep you occupied. Don't forget your favorite pen send postcards. The PO is also near, as are touring ships and activities at the Lewes Historical Society. Enjoyed a shanty night a few trips ago. What a treat. Cape Henlopen with the Atlantic waves bashing or Lewes Beach with waves lapping are endearing. The Inn is clean, comfortable, well appointed and fun. Each room has art and my favorite is Bowie! Great food is abound at local restaurants. We often bring our own treats to maximize time at play, but head to our favorites for indulging in stellar food. The next trip is the Lewes Artists Studio Tour Sept 16!

This was our 4th stay in 9 years and each time has been amazing! You will be googling the mattress to buy one for your home. The innkeepers are knowledgeable and truly love what they do. The junction trail is close and it’s a half mile walk to the beach.
