Silver Tassie Bar Restaurant

The restaurant is bright and clean. the menu is quite wide. eating was good and served quite fast. the service was bad. no one smiled or was kind. no one came to our table once the food was served to offer us more drinks, to take dishes or to offer us coffee / tea dessert. customers are left without confirmation. remarkable after the great service we enjoy everywhere in the world.

Well located htel, large parking. reception and friendly staff. rooms a little old, but spacious and well quipes, large bathroom with individual products. friendly bar, restaurant with a proper and helpful personal choice. for breakfast, a buffet achaland. only bmol, if you fall one night from the bar's certlebrity ct and want to rest for the next day, and well the music and noise diffuse to the play (203,) damaging.

The food at this bar and restaurant is absolutely amazing. It is fresh and excellently prepared. I had the fish special, which was outstanding. I would rate it a 10/10. The prices are also great value for the quality of the food.

My friends and I decided to have dinner at the bar at the Silver Tassie while exploring the area. The setting was lovely, with ample parking available, and we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were mostly pleasant (with one exception). Although the food was decent, it wasn't anything exceptional. However, what really left a bad taste in our mouths was the outrageous prices we were charged for simple items. We were shocked to be billed €3.00 for a jug of tap water with blackcurrant, and even more appalled by the €1.50 charge for a splash of red lemonade in a €5.50 whiskey. Comparing this to the prices we paid at the hotel we were staying at in Letterkenny town (where the same whiskey was only €5.25 with no additional charge for lemonade), it was clear that the Silver Tassie was all about squeezing every penny they could out of their customers.

We dined there each night of our short stay in County Donegal and the food waw gorgeous. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and the food plentiful and good value.
