After a nice evening, my wife and I decided to grab some McDonald's before you go to the hotel. We ordered two meals in the ride, and the guy who helped us seemed warm and we had our food in no time. After we went to our hotel on the other side of Lethbridge, we settled in our room and started eating. My wife took the upper bungalow from her big Mac and noticed a pretty long hair stuck in the spices. I put my meal aside and went all the way back to get compensation for the hairy situation. At that time, I came in and politely told one worker what we discovered. She gave me a snide look and grabbed the bag. She whispered to the other workers make burgers (based on his hair and lack of hair net I am sure he was the perpetrator). The manager said they're gonna replace the burger. Great. Would have been nice to get some kind of bonus for my inconvenience, but obviously not. And do you refund us for the meal? No, because the receipt obviously doesn't make it in the pocket. I get that mistakes can happen, but at least make the customer something like wasting gas for bad quality control was worth it!
Scene Dr. Restaurant. Staff need to spend less time chatting and cleaning more time. The beverage station was a complete mess with pop splash everywhere so bad that you do not fill drinks without getting wet. Very few napkins and no ketchup cups. We have...Ketchup at the counter, but the mess wasn't with all the time we were there.
Included to drive to pick up fast snack for the ride home. After ten minutes the line was not moved and the cars were waiting for stacked. Decided to just go out the line and go elsewhere and the service was fast. It's supposed to eat fast, but not here.
This is the 2nd time we've taken the little guys to eat and the place is absolutely filthy and slow. Others complained while we were there as well. We all had to shower when we got home. On top of that while I was ordering...at the till, the order taker simply walked away half way through my order, no money was exchanged, she simply left half the order on the till and walked away to the drive through window. My husband had to call someone from the back to finish. In the meantime the manager was being entirely horrible to the staff. What a disgrace. It was around 7pm on December 21st.
