La Dent du Geant - Les Houches

We stopped on the way back to chamonix. the dame that spoiled us was not friendly at all and after we gave ourselves the menus, went on to eat their yogurt before us. while we waited patiently for them to take the drinks orders. our children had children's menu, I had an salat de chèvre chaud and my man a entrecôte. the chèvre chaud was clearly a defrosted filo paste package full of oil and not as they can expect anywhere else, roasted brot and genuine cheese. the cut brot I was suspected of having breakfast, as all the pieces were stale. disappointing that least to say, but at the end, if the service had been only normal, that would have been in order. this lady (owner? personal? stood at the bar that played with her phone while the radio was full in a more or less empty restaurant. all in all a bad experience

Was in this hotel often in the past for easy eating, drinks, among them vin chaud (amazing). we all had up in our week in les houches who were great. the hotel has a table tennis table and pool table below...below what we loved. we tried the restaurant for a main meal, but were somewhat disappointed, but I think this was up to a quiet evening in the hotel, put it on one. in general this is a very friendly and clean hotel with a beautiful fire to sit with her vin chaud. will be back!

Pleasant stay in this hotel with the charm of the mountain. Spacious and well-suited rooms for families. Think about booking the pool because the sreneaux are limited to a single family a little painful because we didn’t know it, but finally it’s nice to have the pool between us! . breakfast with views of the fir trees! friendly and welcoming owner.
