The food was ok... the first 2 or 3 bites was great and then it gets overbearing. Way too much gravy on the shrimp and gritz... not use to that... the shrimp was nicely cooked. I was not impressed with the non service... very rude. I ordered a to go plate to try the ribs, they didn't put the order in on time. They made sure to collect the money but had no interest in putting the order in.b Had to cancel and leave after waiting 30 minutes with a small child

Hidden gem! Not only are their food tasty, well-prepared, good serving, it's also affordable. We've gone there 3x now since we moved to the area and they are always busy, testament to their excellent value! Their service is also top-notch. If I were to be picky, the only comment I have is with the parking. Other than that, it's almost the perfect place for brunch, lunch and everything in between!

I ended up getting breakfast for lunch and had the chicken fried steak with country gravy, scrambled eggs with country potatoes and English muffin.

Honestly one of, if not, the best chicken and waffles I've had in the Sacramento region, a large and affordable portion, I'd come here more often if only I'd live much closer.

Can't say enough about the food here. I get the catfish with grits and eggs. Biscuit and gravy or sometimes sub the biscuit and gravy for pancakes. The fish is nice and flavorful. The service here is great. The inside could use some updating as far as the seats are. But overall very good food. Everything that I have tried here has been good so far
