This is not a Black-owned business, and unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. It seems that cooking might not be their strong suit.

The food options here are excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I tried the pulled pork sandwich with potato wedges for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some great BBQ!

I visited this restaurant today, and it will be my first and last time. I ordered strips and catfish, but they were out of tri-tip and greens by around 3 PM on a Saturday. The service was quite poor—neither friendly nor informative. It seemed like the two staff members had just finished arguing, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. After waiting about half an hour despite being told it would only take 10 minutes, I finally received my order, only to discover that it was wrong when I got home. I had expected soul food, but there was absolutely no soul in this food at all.

Ribs were grey, old, cold, and had no flavor except the taste of 3 rounds of charcoal with a side of cold bbq sauce. Greens were old and squishy. I'm sure nothing here is up to health code... Staff is unprofessional. Next...

Where to start with this place? First ordering over the phone was like trying to pull teeth from a rabid wolverine. I had to say everything twice and it is not like there was a menu available online to see what they had. So I get to this place and I ordered a 3 way with beans and greens because they were out of mac and cheese (at 4:30? really? . So I am waiting patiently for my order and this guy basically cusses out the girl working behind the counter! This was one employee cursing out another employee. REALLY?! So I get the food home and the 3 way looked like it was a lot of food and the food was.. ok.. MY sandwich however was 3 or 4 pieces of tri tip on a cheap bun and a container full of soggy potato wedges. I was HUNGRY after I spent the 43.49 on a 3 way, 1 sandwich and an order of crappy wedges. HELL no I won't go back to this place. You want better BBQ? Go ANYWHERE than here and you'll find it.
