Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff. I have my food 10 minutes after the order! Fast service! Friday morning at 9:00. Food is delicious! Hot and fresh. I ordered the country fried steak, over hard eggs, haash brown and cookies. Everything came out perfectly. If I'm back in the area, I'll stop here for a quick bite.

This place can and will be busy. Good food. I always get breakfast here and when I go Mexican. The Carne Asada with eggs is wonderful. But never had anything bad. My grandfather always had the French toast. It was very good.

Best land fried steak I had in the awhile! When you come here on Sunday, wait for a LONG time to sit. The coffee was a little watered for me, but my mother-in-law had no complaints. The pancakes are thick and a beautiful size. You don't have to worry about getting hungry because the portions are huge. There are so many things on the menu and I will try something else again. Note: Some can say this is a small hole in the wall, but I say the food is worth it.

Love this place! We eat breakfast here at least once a week. The staff is so friendly and attentive. My coffee cup is never less than half full! The food is the best I had in San Diego and it is consistently amazing. Never had a meal at Lemon Grove Cafe, which was not as amazing as the last time! Prices are probably also the best in the county.

Lemon Grove Cafe has been a long time favorite with a diverse menu and breakfast anytime. My chicken fried steak and eggs were delicious with perfect gravy. I love their coffee. We were there late morning and ate in the outdoor patio where pets were welcome. The decor is a bit dated but homey with booths, counter seating and tables. Our wait person was great. The restaurant can be crowded and during the most popular meal hours parking, though usually ample, can be tight. There are colorful and interesting murals on adjacent building walls. We always enjoy meals at the Lemon Grove Cafe.
