Bidra med feedbackEnjoy a beautiful coffee and cake while they looked over kirkstall abbey. prices a little high for eating, but drinks are reasonable. outside seats are nice
On a very warm Sunday, the café had a spacious interior that provided a nice, cool escape from the heat. Unfortunately, since it wasn't dog-friendly, we had to sit in the back courtyard at a picnic bench. It seemed like the area hadn’t been swept in a while. The menu was simple, but the food was tasty and reasonably priced. You place your order and pay at the counter, and they bring the hot food to your table.
The coffee and cake are excellent, the staff is friendly, and the setting is a beautiful old building. It's a must-visit when you're exploring the abbey or nearby museums.
I enjoyed my lunch break at this café, thanks to the friendly and helpful young staff. The location is lovely, with outdoor seating in both the front and back. I had a delightful combination of mushroom soup and a cheese sandwich, which came at a discounted price when ordered together, as the young man kindly pointed out. The lemon cake was absolutely delicious! I would have given a full five stars, but I noticed that the soup platter was chipped, and the cheese resembled processed slices. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff attentive, so I would definitely return.
