Hillton's Fish Chip Shop - Leeds

The fish cake was extremely dry, almost like a rock. The scallop was burnt. The fish and chips were decent. I will not be coming back. It was much better before.

In my opinion, this is the best fish and chip shop in Leeds. I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else! The fish and chips are delicious and the service from Kate and Olivia is super friendly.

Given it two goes and won 't be returning. Fish was really batter-heavy, not much fish it was mostly crispy batter. Chips were decent but portions are ridiculously small. They only do one bag size Large which anywhere else would do 2 people to share, but here it 's basically a large side portion for 1. Gravy was also tepid, the server heated it up in a microwave from cold for about 30 seconds. On a Friday night you 'd expect fresh. It 's cheap but that 's about the only thing going for it.

Really enjoyed the fish and chips from here, just dog sitting for our daughter. We come from Hull and I don't think we have had such good fish , curry sauce and peas were very good as well.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! It was both filling and tasty. The fish was especially delicious, the chips were good, and the curry sauce was absolutely delicious.
